Loved by Musicians
See why musicians of all levels choose Noisy Clan to make learning, practising and playing music simpler, clearer and more enjoyable.
I found my first circle of fifths decoder so damned useful and people were always picking it up and saying what a really practical and well thought out tool it was. This one was a gift for a friend that is just branching out into music writing and I wanted something practical and fundamentally cool to help them out. They love it and it has inspired them to start writing music for themselves. Play more, write more, set a new course. That is the power of this tool.
I’m a long time musician that has always had difficulty playing by ear, but the Circle of Fifths has been a great help. Now when working by ear, I have a direction to follow and look forward to being able to use it in some jam sessions. Thanks NoisyClan!
I’m very pleased with this product which is easy to take with you and also comes with an intensive booklet in order to explain the theory behind the product and how to use it
It is a handy tool for transposing music for key changing. I didn’t expect to find the list of music chord progressions to aid in forming a song. Very good sturdy and educational tool for me.
When you absolutely, positively need a reminder. Tactile purposeful and probably going to last awhile if the cat doesn't find it. Too optimistic...Purr-haps I should have two?
Would recommend this well made and informative circle of fifths to any musician learning theory. Size is perfect. Easy to read. Fits in a gig bag pocket.
An understanding of Music theory and the Circle of 5ths is invaluable for musicians who wish to understand the inner depths of music composition. This is one of the best decoders I’ve seen and used. Easy to understand (simple instructions in the accompanying booklet) and makes the choice of related cords simple.
I would say this is a must for musicians and students studying music theory.
A lot more robust than card versions, its worth getting the hardback book rather than relying on PDF download, especially if you are fairly new to music theory - its a well written and concise introduction, with a lot of practical information. Its also been designed so you can easily fit into a gig bag for travel. I would think this would be useful for both young and adult learners. Recommended.
I saw this product reviewed by Sean Daniels on YouTube some time ago and it sparked my interest. I’m a big fan of the Co5ths; even though it’s sometimes misunderstood, I find it a very useful way of learning a new piece of musical information. Anyway, this product is quite excellent, beautifully designed and manufactured. It has all the information and, yes, some might say that it’s information heavy, but the Cof5ths is a weighty subject. It is supplied with a very comprehensive instruction booklet/training manual which provides adaquate material to help you use it.
Great product and very easy to understand. Shipping is fast. I had an issue one time with receiving the product which was not the fault of noisyclan. The package was lost by the US postal service. Once I called noisyclan and told them about not receiving my order, joe immediately sent me a new set to replace the one I did not receive. Before, I could receive the new order, the old one was found by USPS and finally delivered to me. I advised joe that I would return the new replacement one he sent me since i got my original order. Joe let me keep it to share with a friend. Very much appreciated gesture. This is not a perfect world, things break, things doesn’t go as planned all the time. But customer service makes the difference. I will be monitoring noisyclan and I will be purchasing more products from them. Very happy with their high quality product and their excellent customer service.
This is very cool tool . The book that comes with it does a great job of explaining how to use. It’s giving ma a new understanding and taking me to the next level . I’m buying another one to send to a friend!
The circle of fifths stand is absolutely fantastic! .It has help me endlessly at the beginning of my understanding of music key and chords. I highly recommend it. Thank you for making such a great item!
As a relatively new guitar player, this circle of fifths wheel is so useful. I take with me to all our gigs. I tried memorizing circle of fifths charts and making sense of the theory described with those charts. Maybe I’m just too old to comprehend without going to a music teacher for many lessons just on this concept. Two seconds with this device and I have the cord progression for any key. Wish I found it a couple years ago.
I now play the Harmonica with a small Western music group. I was having a tough time with all the key changes, minor keys, and transposing. Man, how I wished I'd have learned this "stuff" back in some past excursion into music. Since receiving this product, I've been doing a lot better keeping up with the group.
Yes, it's been helpful, I no longer freeze up when they capo into a minor key. Easy-peasy now. I've still got a way to go, but it's starting to come together now. Shipping was good, well packed, and protected. If I ever lost mine I would buy it again, and recommend you consider this musician's tool.
Been playing guitar a long time, would have loved to have had this starting out. Even now it's useful when putting songs together, and not just for guitar.
