This stand has become one of my favorite pieces of kit. I’ve probably pointed a dozen people at Noisy who are really impressed by it. I tend to leave it set up simply because it looks so elegant. One does have to be aware of clumsy people walking near, but everything has tradeoffs. I choose care over the suboptimal and inelegant ‘hanging weight’ solution.
