This Guitar Cheat Sheets collect the references guitarists reach for most—chords, scales, triads and the circle of fifths—in one compact set. Four double-sided cards give beginners, students, teachers and developing players a screen-free way to check shapes and theory while practicing or writing.
At roughly 8 by 8 inches, the set is easy to keep in a guitar case or gig bag. The charts condense a large amount of information into a travel-friendly format, helping you spend less time searching and more time testing the idea on the fretboard.
Why You'll Love It
Cover the core references — Use one set for chord shapes, scale patterns, triads and circle-of-fifths connections.
Stay off the screen — Keep the information visible without interrupting practice to search a phone or computer.
Learn by seeing — The diagrams turn theory and fretboard patterns into a quick visual check.
Support practice and writing — Reference a shape at home, during a lesson, at a jam or while developing a song.
Teach from the same chart — The cards give instructors and students a shared visual during guitar lessons.
Pack it with the guitar — The compact cards and case travel easily in a gig bag.
How to Use It
1. Choose whether you need a chord, scale, triad or circle-of-fifths reference. 2. Open the set to the relevant side of the card. 3. Match the visual diagram to the position or theory idea on your guitar. 4. Apply the shape during practice, a lesson, a jam or a songwriting session.
What You'll Learn / Explore
Explore common guitar chord shapes, scale patterns, triad relationships and circle-of-fifths connections. The set is a condensed reference rather than a guided course: complete beginners may want additional instruction, and chord progressions and mode patterns are not explicitly taught.

Genuinely game changing for me. Easy to understand. It you focus on these approaches you will start to unlock the mysteries of a guitar. Brilliant addition to my learning
It might seem a little spendy for just 4 double-sided flashcards, but for $25 this product has been one of the most useful bang-for-buck guitar purchases I have ever made. The quick references here include most everything I actually need and nothing I don’t, and they are very high quality. If you have a decent grasp of theory but find yourself needing to reference chord shapes, the circle of 5ths, scale shapes, etc., and you don’t want to have to look on your phone or computer all the time, you could do a lot worse.
There is nothing remarkable about the information in this product. It is all available on the Internet. But I constantly use it, because out of so much faster to just have it open in front of me.
One thing I wish it had were the mode patterns (WWHWWWH etc)
This chord chart pack is a fantastic learning tool, especially for visual learners like me. The layout is clean, easy to follow, and covers everything from basic chords to progressions, scales, and triads. It’s perfect for beginners, but even experienced players will find it useful for quick reference or practice sessions. I keep my set right by my amp for easy access. The size is just right; neither too big nor too small, and the durable material is a bonus, it will handle traveling in my gig bag to practice sessions with my mates. This truly is an excellent tool for anyone serious about improving their guitar skills, or answering a question on the fly, like, hey! What's a TRIAD?
These are well-constructed, well-laid-out, helpful, quick reference charts. I would recommend these to others and give them as gifts to other guitar players
I’ve only been playing the guitar for just over a year. But I have found this to be extremely helpful both in finding major and minor chords, playing scales but also in using the circle of fifths. Triads are explained plus many other helpful ways to improve my plane. I would recommend this to anyone learning to play the guitar. I found the size just right for carrying around. It fits easily in my guitar case and the cards are all heavy stock that appear to be plasticized, I keep them in the organizational folder and they have held up extremely well.
The sheets are made from cardstock with Mylar lamination, making them scratch-resistant and waterproof. Store them in the included folder case between uses.
Do these charts teach chord progressions?
The set includes a circle-of-fifths reference that can support separate progression study. They show chords and related fretboard information, but they do not provide a step-by-step lesson in chord progressions. For guided progression practice, see Master Chord Loops and Progressions.
Is this suitable for a complete beginner?
It can support a beginner, but it is a condensed quick-reference pack rather than a course. Someone new to chord formulas and fretboard diagrams may need separate instruction before the charts feel intuitive. For step-by-step beginner lessons, use the charts alongside Beginner Guitar Pathways.
How many cards are included in the set?
The set includes 4 double-sided reference cards and a case.

How large is the print?
The set condenses substantial information onto cards measuring approximately 8 × 8 inches (20.3 × 20.3 cm).
