This Circle of Fifths Wheel is a practical rotating music-theory tool for decoding keys, scales, chords and progressions. Turn the wheel to a key and use the high-contrast black-on-yellow layout to see connected major and minor chords, scale notes and key signatures.
Made from sturdy plastic with a built-in stand, it stays visible during practice, lessons and songwriting. The theory works across instruments—including guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, violin and saxophone—so one physical reference can support players, students, teachers and composers.
Why You'll Love It
Make theory visible — The interactive wheel organizes chords, scales and keys into one connected layout.
Find compatible chords — Explore relationships that can become progressions, transitions and new song ideas.
Read it at a glance — High-contrast black and yellow printing keeps the information clear.
Practice hands-free — The stand snaps together on the back so the wheel can sit upright.
Use it across instruments — The key and chord relationships apply to many pitched instruments.
Add explanation when needed — A downloadable eBook introduces ways to apply the circle in musical situations.
How to Use It
1. Choose the key you want to study, write in or transpose to. 2. Rotate the wheel until that key is aligned in the centre window. 3. Read the scale notes, key signature and connected major and minor chord zones. 4. Set the wheel on its stand and apply the relationships while practising, teaching or writing.

Incredible tool for music theory and the aid of complimentary chord progressions using the circle of 5ths. It's sturdy and has a stand that snaps together on the back so that you can have it upright on a table near you while you're exploring these chords. The high contrast of black against yellow is a smart choice for easy visibility and appearance. 5 stars. I think anyone writing music or teaching music or an old dog looking for a handy new tool in the arsenal will really appreciate and value this item.

The Circle of Fifths is a graphical way of showing/explaining music theory/chords by musical keys/scales by musical keys.
Noisy Clan has figured out a better, clearer way of presenting this information, using a rotating disc and a mask with windows to present the relevant information for each key. The product will fit inside most musical instrument cases which is a huge plus for me. It comes in a cheaper paper version as well as a plastic version. I bought the more expensive plastic version and it should last for years, if not decades! Also comes with an ebook download to help the buyer figure out some of the many ways it can be used.

I would purchase this with the book as a bundle. You can download it in pdf from manufacturers website but I like an actual book. Originally bought this circle of fifths without the book manual. I liked it enough to buy the bundle. ( can’t buy just the book on Amazon for some reason only comes in bundle as of now) so now my son is happy he has a circle of fifths tool as well!
The wheel uses high-contrast black text on yellow. It is still a compact, information-dense reference, so review the product images and listed size if you need especially large print.
