I bought my first circle of 5ths decoder for myself. I t has helped me so much on my music theory education that I bought a second one as a gift for my ex brother-in-law. who is quite the accomplished blues guitarists. I did't realize how much it can help an already accomplished player until I started having music theory conversations with him. Although I consider myself a lifelong beginner, I was surprised at how much more music theory I was aware of than him. It just goes to show one can learn things from almost anyone. So I bought the decoder for him as a gift. He has contacted me several times about how much he is beginning to understand with the help of the decoder. So if you have an accomplished guitar player in the family do not hesitate to buy him or her this as a gift. It is helpful to anyone wanting to learn about music.

This is a great teaching aid for beginners and even a fantastic tool for writing when you've hit a wall. This should be handed out in every music class, everywhere!

While the Circle of Fifths is a useful tool on its own, this Decoder takes everything about the Circle of Fifths to a whole new level. It makes understanding relationships much easier and quicker to sort out.

Additionally, I have a form of dyslexia that makes it difficult for me to see things right away in a cluttered space. The Decoder's format automatically eliminates this visual clutter and I can immediately see that which is most important. THAT makes me smile.

I've been playing guitar on and off for over 45 years, but my theory is shockingly limited if I'm honest. This little tool is such a fun way of getting you versed with the circle of fifths, which is a fairly fundamental bit of theory and song composition. It's nicely put together and eases learning of what can be a dry subject. Noisy Clan - if you have any more of this in the pipeline count me in!

I love my Wee Stand. It’s portable, easy to use, and can be stabilized easily if you’re using it outdoors. I'm close to 30 & have been a guitarist for 13 years, and this tool is a life saver. I struggle to learn when presented with lots of information at once due to brain fog, but with this tool and well explained information in the book, you only see what is relevant, and if you slide to another key, the pieces of information you don't need are hidden. 10/10

This is an excellent well thought out learning tool for musicians . I play guitar and the circle of fifths can sometimes seem a bit daunting , but this tool really helps with understanding it though and is a handy size. Fully recommended.
