The silicone strip fits my Yamaha keyboard - not perfectly flat between the back of the keys when fitted but that isn’t a problem as it does not interfere with the keys.

These strips fit my piano perfectly. There are two extra tabs because my piano only has 86 keys. There are three strips so it can be used to fit smaller keyboards. My daughter is learning to play the piano and she says these strips will be really helpful.

I'm currently teaching my daughter how to pay the piano so when I saw these I ordered them right away. I wasn't sure how they would fit on at first, but they slot in perfectly - there's no sticking them down or anything like that, they just fit in at the top of the black notes and sit on the white notes perfectly. The octaves are alternate colours - cream for one, then pale grey, then cream again etc. This is helpful. There's enough for all the notes and it shows on the edge of each note where the sharp and flat is, which is really good too. They're high up at the top of the notes so they don't get in the way when playing but very easy to glance up and check the name of the note and compare it to the picture of it which shows what it looks like on the stave.

They took less than a minute to 'install', so they're far quicker than using stickers and also won't tarnish your keyboard if you decide to sell it on later. 5*
This is a good pack of piano note strips that are very handy for being able to read which note it is. They are made of soft flexible material that fits well and it feels durable enough to last over some time if treated with care. The markings on the strips are clearly visible and easy need to read.
WHAT IS IT FOR?
It's a three-part overlay for a full size electronic keyboard (synthesizer, electric, electric organ?), covering up to seven octaves. You lay it on the keyboard (in the gaps) to help you find (and learn) the right ones while learning!
IN THE BAG
You get a small ziplock bag containing there keyboard overlays, horribly tangled and scrunched up. They look truly terrible; not a good start.
SETTING UP
This is quite simple:
1: Open the bag and spread out the overlays on a flat surface. Be careful that you don't make any twists worse.
2: Leave to settle for a few hours in a warm environment
3: Lay the overlays in the correct order (1, 2, 3 reading from left to right) on your keyboard
4: Make sure that you've got the Middle C label on the Middle C key!
5: If your keyboard is less than seven octaves, you can cut off the excess at each end - or leave it dangling as I have.
The photos are for my 5-octave (61 key) Casio CS1X, which the overlays fit very well.
USING
Not much to say really:
* The overlays are quite sturdy, thick-ish rubbery plastic, so they should last
* The legends are very clear, in multiple colours - helping me hunt and peck
* They are an exact fit for my keyboard so they don't interfere with the keys in the slightest
* They still aren't completely flat, but that's an aesthetic/cosmetic quibble

- Why three separate parts, why not a single overlay?
(I presume the main overlay is sold separately for small keyboards and they add the top and bottom octaves to make seven, but manufacturing economies like that shouldn't dictate how a product is designed.)
CONCLUSION
An excellent keyboard overlay in three parts that fits my keyboard perfectly. Up to seven octaves (88 keys). A bit annoyed that they arrive in such a tangled state, in such cheap packaging, and why is it in three parts? Four stars
This silicone piano/keyboard note strip is easy to install and unlike some other strips I've tried it has a thin seam. When I say seam it's where the note strips down from the spine. This isn't a bad thing it's a good thing (well at least for me). Although this would make it arguably weaker than a lot of the other strips that have thicker seams or spines. I have a piano and a keyboard you probably thinking which is something I won't go into here but you'll often find pianos with a red bit of material at the top of the keys. This isn't always the case but you'll usually find it on piano's as opposed to keyboards. Anyway as I said a lot of the strips have thick spine/seams which don't allow it sit between the top of the piano and the keys properly. I have a strip which fits perfectly on my keyboard but when I place it on my piano it interfers with the keys because it's a lot thicker.

- print is a little blurry but it's not too bad
- the thin strip of silicone holding each strip together might be a bit tight depending on your keybed
Actually not bad overall. Easy enough to place. Although I did have to tuck it under the red felt bit on the Casio PX electric piano. This makes it a little unstable as the bed has no back under it. Means you can push it under. I did have to finesse it a little as well but pushing down and pulling back to get it past the red felt. But once it's down, there's no lifting or catching with full sized keys.
The only other thing that stands out to be is that the print isn't crisp and clean. It's a little fuzzy to my eyes. It's not my eyesight as I've recently had a new prescription.
Other than those two things, it's a reasonable product overall. Thick enough to not feel like you'll break it easily. It's readable enough, although the grey colour for the alternative octaves can make it a little more difficult to read depending on the amount of light you have.
For the cost of them, you can't massively complain too much. Should last a good while or a life time so you can hand them down or move then around a lot.
Didn’t fit my midi keyboard, this is designed for something with wider keys. The product itself seems to do what it’s supposed to. I just didn’t have the right keyboard.
